Mrs. Mary Agnes Wilhite, 79 of 1221 Elm St., died at 7 p.m. Monday in the home of Mrs. Eddie Bowerman at Waynetown. Mrs. Wilhite was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and St. Bernard Rosary Society. A former member of Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic, she attended Crawfordsville schools. Born Dec. 9, 1892, in Cincinnatti, she was a daughter of Joseph A. and Mary M. Schreiner Grabman. She married William Robert Wilhite on March 7, 1916, in Crawfordsville. He died June 19, 1971. Survivors include three sons, Donald of Crawfordsville, Gene of Brazil and Bill of Waynetown; three daughters, Mrs. Wallace Stewart of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Roscoe Dyson of Mellott and Mrs. Eddie Bowerman of Waynetown; three brothers, Alfred of Arlington, Va., and Arthur L. and Robert F., both of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Cressie Jones of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Lucille Frisz of Terre Haute; 21 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, two grandsons, a brother and four sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Rt. Rev Msgr. Henry F. Ward officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Hunt and Son Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be read at 8 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
